Ffrk Inheritance Slot
Posted : admin On 7/30/2022Magicites are units that can be equipped by your team, granting them different kinds of bonifications in the process. The one placed in the Main Magicite slot can be summoned in battle, providing the team with a special effect and acting every few seconds. They are obtained by defeating Magicite Bosses, but these fights are only available once the player has completed all the Nightmare Dungeons.
.(.Reminder: In MP, Slots are counted player by player, with #1 and #2 being the Front and Back Rows of the first player, #3 and #4 being the Front and Back Rows of the second player, and so on.)  . In addition to Magicite, the Magicite Dungeons also drop the Arcana, which are an upgrade material specifically designed to upgrade them. Magicite levelled to level 99 will unlock Inheritance Slots, which may be used to inherit other Boons to magicite to make them more customized and useful.
While the 1★ and 2★ Magicites drop depending on the time of clearance, the others drop randomly. As you use resources each time you clear a Magicite Fight, if you want a certain Magicite to drop, it is adviceable to download a Drop Tracker (like FFRKompanion) to see what you are getting before wasting any time. If the drop is not what you want, you can just leave and go back in until the Magicite you desire shows up. You do not lose any resources if you do not kill the boss.
Once you get them, Magicites need to be leveled up. When they level up, their stats increase and their passives improve. Their stats are used to determine the gain of a certain stat when receiving Boon passives (refer to Magicite Effects to know more). They are also used to strengthen the Main Magicite’s moveset.

They receive experience if they are equipped when you fight a battle. They do not need to be used in order to receive experience. They receive experience as characters do: split in equal parts between all units. You can also level them up by using Arcana, but this is a more limited resource (not as common as Growth Eggs).
When they get to level 99, they are able to use the Magicite Inheritance system. With the Inheritance system you can give to level 99 Magicites more stat points and a passive of your choice. If you are interested in seeing how this works, check this guide out. If you are a newer player, you should disregard this for a while.

“Dampens”
As noted by the color, these aren’t high priority creations and I’d save your arcana until you don’t have anything else to make. 5* Dampen magicite do the job almost as well so the upgrade from one to the next is minimal. The Empower copies above are the important ones.
Titan*: Earth Blessing, Stat Boon, Fast Act, Health Boon
Ramuh: Lightning Blessing, Stat Boon, Fast Act, Health Boon
Leviathan: Water Blessing, Stat Boon, Fast Act, Health Boon
Ifrit: Fire Blessing, Stat Boon, Fast Act, Health Boon
Valefor: Wind Blessing, Stat Boon, Fast Act, Health Boon
Alexander: Holy Blessing, Stat Boon, Fast Act, Health Boon
Diabolos: Dark Blessing, Stat Boon, Fast Act, Health Boon
*Does not need to be Titan. Any of the 6* will do. This ensures that you will have a 6* magicite to summon while assembling your collection. They’re extremely powerful tools for all difficult content in the game even if not the correct element of your team.
Alternate Dampens Until Second 6*
Quetzalcoatl: Dampen Water, Fast Act, Dampen Water, Health Boon
Famfrit: Dampen Fire, Spell Ward, Dampen Fire, Health Boon
Mateus: Dampen Wind, Blade Ward, Dampen Wind, Health Boon
Syldra: Dampen Earth, Magic Boon, Dampen Earth, Health Boon
Hecatoncheir: Dampen Lightning, Resistance Boon, Dampen Lightning, Health Boon
Lakshmi: Dampen Dark, Healing Boon, Dampen Dark*, Health Boon
Deathgaze: Dampen Holy, Hand of Vengeance, Dampen Holy, Health Boon
*Can also just carry over the Blade Ward and Spell Ward Lakshmis from my 5* decks, which is what I’ll be doing until I can put a Diabolos together to replace them.

Specialized/Optional Suggestions
Madeen: Empower Holy, Surging Power, Healing Boon, Health Boon
This Madeen is important because while Fast Act is great in every deck, two is pushing it. So what you’ll do with this buddy is use him instead of the Fast Act+Health Boon one you see above when you eventually have the new 6* Dampen magicites active. As you can see, they have Fast Act already on them so it’s not terribly effective to have that passive occur again on one of your Madeens. Healing Boon is a proper replacement for that slot. But until then, as you are growing your decks, you’ll be using 5* magicites from the “Alternate Dampens” section as your Dampen magicite and these do not have Fast Act(sans Quetzalcoatl), the high priority Madeen with Fast Act and Health Boon would be the proper choice.
Madeen: Empower Holy, Surging Power, Deadly Strikes x2
For Critical Chance teams. Cloud USB1, Orlandeau, Tyro USB4, Tyro AASB, etc.
Madeen: Empower Holy, Surging Power, Healing Boon, Precise Strikes
A nice Madeen for physical teams that don’t rely on Critical Chance buffs.
Madeen: Empower Holy, Surging Power, Blade Ward, Spell Ward
Occasionally extra defense is necessary to survive certain attacks and one Phoenix’s passives may not cut it. Can’t DPS if you’re dead!
I’m always accepting suggestions for optional includes. I’m a hard sell though, so be warned in advance!
Explanation
6* Magicites simplify deck construction, and thank goodness because they take insane amounts of experience to level up, so only really requiring one of each is a blessing. The second copy is a very long term option, but the 5* Dampen magicite mentioned here and in my previous list are very good at what they do so there’s no rush.
The important parts to understand about them are the Blessing and Stat Boon passives and how they interact with the diminishing returns levels of other passives.
The Blessing passives, other than their fight specific benefits, act as both Empower and Dampen passives of the same element. For example, a Ramuh will provide the benefits of both Empower Lightning Lvl15 and Dampen Lightning Lvl15. Both of these passives are rarely simultaneously useful. Utilizing both of these benefits is the basis on the system of using two of each. Note that the Dampen effect is at Lvl15, which is a potency only attainable by adding two Dampen passives from 5* magicite. This is why you do not see any used in the completed 6* list, since I feel that they are no longer necessary.
The Stat Boon passives are more expansive as they are a Lvl10 Attack Boon, Defense Boon, Magic Boon, Resistance Boon, and Mind Boon. This has a couple influences on how I build my decks. First, no more optional Phoenixes with Defense or Resistance Boons in them. Since I plan on having two 6* in every deck, this reduces any need I would have for them. Second, it adds emphasis on non-stat boon passives when in fights where I’m struggling to include every passive I want to. This means I can consider excluding ATK/MAG/MND Boon Madeens and not suffer too much of a loss for it.
Transition Tips from 5*
Ffrk Inheritance Slot Games
Moving from my 5* list to the new is really quite easy.
The Empower 6* are simple enough. Take the Empower 5* gobble them up with the new breed. I know it feels like you might someday want one of the special summon abilities(Adamantoise’s Lightning attack blink, for instance), but honestly the 6* summon is so powerful I believe it’s better to just cut loose and find other ways to mimic those varied benefits that 5* brought. Or keep them both and train up another two Empowers to feed to the 6* instead. Expensive, but it’s your arcana!
The Dampen 6* are also simple! In the same way, you have the 6* cannibalize the old 5* and use the new ones in the same way. That gives them Dampens and Health Boons and honestly that’s great! You can choose whether you want to replace the Dampen with Fast Acts to match my list or not. Honestly they’ll both work great. I just put Fast Act on them as the most desirable end game.
Examples of Use
The base team that I’ll use for the most typical of situations(single damage type team, single element boss) is set in stone:
Empower Magicite
Dampen Magicite
Defensive Magicite
Offensive Magicite #1 (Main stat boons)
Offensive Magicite #2 (Specialized passives)
6* Lightning Magicite Ramuh, Physical Weak
Normal progression clear using Tyro USB4/AASB(Party Critical Chance)
Titan: Earth Blessing, Stat Boon, Empower Earth x2
Hecatoncheir: Dampen Lightning, Resistance Boon, Dampen Lightning, Health Boon
Phoenix: Dampen Ice, Health Boon, Blade Ward, Spell Ward
Madeen: Empower Holy, Surging Power, Attack Boon x2
Madeen: Empower Holy, Surging Power, Deadly Strikes x2
Ice Weak Odin, Magic Team
If you still have Odin clears left to do
Shiva: Ice Blessing, Stat Boon, Empower Ice x2
Mateus: Dampen Wind, Blade Ward, Dampen Wind, Health Boon
Madeen: Empower Holy, Surging Power, Magic Boon x2
Madeen: Empower Holy, Surging Power, Fast Act, Health Boon
Madeen*: Empower Holy, Surging Power, Blade Ward, Spell Ward
*Traded out Phoenix for a third Madeen as an example of a more offensive focused deck with similar passives. I’d personally stick with the Phoenix unless speed running.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why Empowers on the first 6* copy?
Staying with the modular theme I’ve used since 4*, it just makes sense to play upon the strengths of each of your five slots. All 6* come with offensive and defensive characteristics, but they very obviously lean offensive when you take the summoned effects into consideration. That means it makes sense for the first copy to lean offense and the second, should you choose to make one, can be defensive.
The high priority Alexander is in the Dampen section?
Due to the supposed presence of Madeens in every magicite deck, you already have access to two Empower Holys before 6* even enters the equation. This means you simply do not need an offensively focused Alexander. Use the defensive one for all applications instead. Hooray for less arcana required!
No Dampen Shiva?
Same reason as Alexander due to Phoenixes, but a slightly different verdict. The Madeens replace the inherited Empower Holys on the Alexander, while the Phoenixes “replace” the Dampen Ice effect on Shiva’s Ice Blessing. Since there are more components to a 6* magicite than just Dampen, there’s still a reason to one day assemble a second Shiva.
- The Stat Boon. It’s nice to have two per deck to cover the stuff that your Madeens can’t. Running two Phoenixes to supply your Dampens only allows you to bring one. Small benefit, but it is one.
- Blessings increase damage done and reduce damage taken should you decide to revisit those fights for farming or speed running purposes. You obviously don’t want to be bringing a double Empower Ice Shiva to a fight against Shiva.
While there are reasons to make this second Shiva, I don’t consider them high enough priority to even add to the list. You’ll know when you need and if you have the resources to level her. This will very likely one of the last things you ever do with the current crop of magicites.
Am I required to use Phoenix as the defensive passive carrying magicite?
No, not at all. Famfrit, Mateus, and Phoenix all carry the requisite innate passives to fulfill this role. I have Phoenix mentioned above because it’s just the one I chose for 5* since I used this same paradigm for those decks as well.
The only real difference between them is their Dampen passives. You could make a case since Fire is ostensibly the most common damage type out of the three that Famfrit might be a better choice. I still went with Phoenix because I didn’t think the difference was enough to overcome the fact that since Health Boon was universal that I could stick to all Phoenixes and simplify deck building. A simple choice of minor convenience over minor effectiveness. Ultimately, it won’t matter much. If you want to use the other two instead, whether from preference or because that’s what you used during the previous tier, go right ahead!
